Grassform has secured a contract to reinforce the access grounds around Battersea power station.
With the amount of traffic driving in and out of Battersea Power Station, even the stone roads cannot hold up! Having been in negotiations for many months, I was beginning to wonder if id ever secure the order, but persistence paid off and I am proud to announce that Grassform have successfully been appointed to work alongside some of the main contractors inside the station and reinforce the roadways, using our very own temporary TuffTrak® panels! We have worked through the night and successful installed thousands of square meters of temporary area using a variety of our panels, to create compound areas and temporary roadways over the existing surface.
Our TuffTrak® will help disperse the weights of the thousands of lorries a day driving over it, easing the pressure going into the ground and enabling it to last much longer. These will remain on hire for 2 years and only require a maintenance visit every few months to keep them in good working order!
There are a number of other areas we must now look at reinforcing, but this just goes to show even the hardest surfaces will eventually need reinforcing.
