Our Environmental Commitment
Sustainable Practices for a Greener Future
At Grassform, we are committed to the continuous improvement of our operations, with sustainability at the core of everything we do. We proudly hold ISO 9001 accreditation, are approved by the Freight Transport Association, and are active members of the Construction Plant-Hire Association—each reinforcing our dedication to quality, compliance, and responsible business practices.
Our aim is to provide customers with sustainable, environmentally friendly solutions wherever possible. Many of our ground protection panels are made from recycled high-density polyethylene, and we actively prioritise material recycling, reduced solvent use, and the efficient management of water and energy. These efforts help minimise pollution, emissions, and waste across our operations. We are also fully licensed by the Environment Agency to carry waste, ensuring it is processed in full accordance with legal and environmental standards.
Reducing our carbon footprint is an ongoing priority. We’ve invested in ULEZ-compliant lorries, electric work vehicles, and charging infrastructure, while our facilities across the country now benefits from solar panels and an air source heat pumps to reduce energy demand and support our net zero targets.
Our people are essential to this journey. We foster a culture of sustainability by raising awareness, offering regular training, and encouraging active participation in environmental initiatives across the business and the communities we work in.
