Festival of Lights

In 2023 Grassform secured the contract to provide temporary access roads for the Festival of Light. This major large-scale event required meticulous planning and seamless execution to ensure smooth logistics for the entire festival. Due to Grassform Group’s success in delivering the project to a meticulously high standard, we were awarded the contract for the 2024 event as well with further options moving forwards.

Scope of Work

Grassform deployed several specialist crews across the festival’s grounds to install over 5,000km of trackway. This temporary infrastructure was critical to supporting the festival’s various phases, from initial setup to event operations and breakdown. The roadways provided vital access for staff, vendors, and heavy vehicles, ensuring that each aspect of the event ran smoothly.

Execution

With tight deadlines and multiple phases, Grassform Group worked efficiently to meet the festival’s demanding schedule. By coordinating numerous teams and maintaining high standards of safety and performance, we ensured that all temporary access roads were installed, maintained, and removed without issue. Each phase of the project was completed on time, and the roads provided a reliable solution for heavy traffic and continuous use.

The project was delivered on time and exceeded client expectations, ensuring a successful Festival of Light. The quality of the work and the efficiency of Grassform’ s crews led to the renewal of the contract for the 2024 festival.
