In a challenging remote location, Grassform Group was tasked with supporting emergency repair works on an underground utility cable. The project demanded a rapid and efficient solution to ensure access for heavy equipment, which was being transported to the site by helicopter due to the area’s inaccessibility by road. Grassform Group successfully installed over 1,500 meters of trackway in a double element configuration to facilitate these critical utility operations.

Challenges

The remote nature of the site posed significant logistical challenges. Traditional access routes were unavailable, necessitating the use of helicopters to transport the necessary equipment. Additionally, the terrain was uneven and unstable, requiring a robust solution to prevent heavy machinery from sinking or becoming immobilized. Time was also of the essence, as the emergency repairs were critical to restoring power to the surrounding area.
